Hostonomy offers only two types of hosting: Shared and Cloud.

The basic plan, called "starter" gives you the ability to host 1 website, 10GB disk space, 1 CPU core and 1GB RAM Unlimited Bandwidth, and Email accounts.

The company’s site is small and compact, so a client would not miss important information. There’s no knowledge base available, and the tutorial section is empty.

The company states that its support department is online 24/7 and you can contact support with a live chat, email, or by opening a ticket. For my test, I’ve chosen live chat as the preferred method of reaching out to support. The results were quick, only taking a specialist around 5 minutes to answer almost all my questions, with some harder ones being delayed and redirected to email.

All of the services provided by the company are cloud-based, either semi or fully cloud. Backups are automatically made daily and weekly, stored for up to 30 days on an off-site location. When looking at the set of included features, you can see that Hostomy truly cares about security. Let’s take a look at the measures provided: BruteForce/DDoS protection, NetWork firewall, Imunify360. For better user isolation CloudLinux with CageFS are used. Additionally, a team of professionals constantly monitors your server. 

From the performance side, Hostomy uses LiteSpeed and Cloudflare for fast loading speeds.

Uptime is promised to be 99,9%.

The company provides softaculous, so users can one-click install available and supported CMS platforms and other scripts. Should you decide on moving your website to Hostomy, you can order a free migration service, where a team of specialists will move your site without a second of downtime. Various development environments are supported, including Bash, Perl, Python, Laravel, Symphony.

Users are granted SSH access.

As of now, Hostomy has only an affiliate, so users willing to participate can profit from advertising the company’s services and bringing new clients.

The prices listed by Hostomy are approximately market average, but some prices can be below that. Note that the prices in the cart are actually stated in INR. The lowest price you can find is 1.95$ for the “Starter” shared solution. There are no setup or installation fees. Only shared solutions are eligible for a refund during a period of 15 days after purchase.
