There’s little to no information about support, no availability or working hours, and the only way to reach support is by opening a ticket. And to do that you need to have an account. I did so, after registering I’ve opened a ticket with some technical questions I could come up with. After 4 hours a specialist replied back, trying to answer them, they mostly answered all of them, leaving almost half of them for a later reply.

The company provides daily backups that are stored for a minimum of 30 days. LigHost uses a couple of measures to boost performance like LiteSpeed and automatic user management, so you are migrated to the most empty server. NVMe drives are used exclusively on servers. The company has a custom “Cloud booster”. Complementary DDoS protection is included. Uptime is promised to be 99.99%.

As usual, Softaculous is provided, allowing for an easy one-click installation of supported CMS platforms, addons n plugins. WordPress is strongly supported and optimized, with its own separate plan. Should you decide on moving to LigHost, you can order a free, managed transfer by opening a ticket. The company supports such developer environments as Perl, PHP, Python, Ruby, and Node.JS. Users are granted SSH/Root access.

During configuration, you can choose between variations of Linux-based or Windows operating systems.

LigHost has an affiliate program and a separate reseller hosting so users participating in them can profit from selling or advertising company’s services.

The refund policy is harsh, only applicable for shared, WordPress, and reseller solutions. The period is only 7 days and you only will be issued a refund in case of unsolvable problems.
