AbeloHost is a small but dedicated company, aimed at providing client-oriented quality service. That much can be said about the site, as it is sleek and fairly modern. The main service type is offshore hosting solutions divided into three simple categories: Shared, VPS, and dedicated servers
A basic shared plan will have a 0.7 CPU core, 512MB RAM, 10GB disk space, and 50GB bandwidth
A basic VPS plan has 1GB RAM, 15GB SSD, and unlimited bandwidth.

AbeloHost cares about privacy, and offshore location helps to host more content types than typically allowed. There is no knowledge base available for the users, only the tutorials section

 

As stated on the site, the tech support department is online 24/7/365 and you can contact them by email, live chat, ticket, a feedback form, or by using skype or Facebook. Although the live chat is not entirely live, and when there’s no online specialist available, you’ll be instead redirected to email. Sadly, I could not catch a window of time where there were specialists online, so instead, I’ve tried getting support by email. With that route, it took around 4 hours for my list of questions to be resolved

CloudLinux OS running on KVM is used to separate users from each other so the performance of your particular website wouldn’t be compromised. All servers are using RAID-10 SSDs to boost uploading speed and are under constant monitoring. You can buy a daily backup service for 5 EUR. Two different DDoS protection are available, with one of them coming as a free included feature.  Cloudflare is included for free.

Uptime is promised to be 99.9%

As usual, softaculous is provided, allowing for an easy one-click installation of supported CMS, plugins, etc. All plans come with some degree of server management, so that means you are getting semi-managed service free of charge. Should you decide on transferring your website to AbeloHost servers, a dedicated specialist will do this task for you. Multiple development environments are supported, like Perl, Python, CGI, NodeJS, Ruby, etc. If you want, you can request a custom control panel of your choosing.
