As usual, the company’s website is nicely presented and designed, with all of the functions and features located in easily accessible places. OnliveServer’s services include all of the popular hosting solutions: Shared, VPS, and dedicated server, but also provides cloud hosting. A basic shared plan allows hosting of one domain on 5GB disk space with unlimited bandwidth. A standard VPS plan has 1CPU core, 1GB RAM, 30GB of disk space and 1TB bandwidth.

Unfortunately, their site is kind of lacking in the service description. A knowledge base is available from the client area but has only 2 articles.

As stated on the website support is active 24/7 and you can contact them by live chat, phone, email, skype, and skype. As usual, I’ve tested the response time and I can say that live chat felt unresponsive, the first reply was after 10 minutes of the original message and I haven’t got an answer even after an hour of waiting.

Onlive servers are running on modern and up-to-date SSDs and are using KVM technology. To boost up the server load speeds, Cloudflare CDN and LiteSpeed webserver. Imunify360, CSF firewall, and a ClamAV antivirus are used to protect your server. Free and managed website transfer is available by opening a support ticket with or by ordering a transfer 

Backups are made weekly and monthly 

Uptime is promised to be 99.9% or higher

With cPanel comes softaculous, an easy one-click solution to install all of the popular and supported CMS platforms, scripts, and plugins. WordPress is supported and is heavily optimized, even more so if you purchase a separate WordPress plan which offers a lot of WordPress-related features. A separate Windows shared hosting plan is available.

Users are provided with full SSH/Root access.

As a company that presents itself as a cheap hosting provider, and indeed, it’s true. You can get yourself a shared hosting for a mere 2$ a month.
