HostYD offers services of shared, VPS, cloud, and dedicated hosting solutions as well as domain registration. The resources that plans offer are differ depending on the country, US or UK. The starter plan has 50/10GB of disk space, 300/100GB of bandwidth to host 2 or 1 website. For VPS it's 1CPU core, 1GB RAM, 30GB disk space, and 1TB bandwidth.
The company’s site is compact and easy to navigate with both short and detailed service descriptions available. Performance is one of the main goals of the company, so they provide a lot of measures to provide the topmost efficiency. A knowledge base is available from the client area, having over 50 articles, touching various topics regarding the hosting.

There are neither stated support times nor average response times, and the only way to contact support is by opening a ticket. And to test the response times I did so, and the response to my ticket came after 2 hours, which is a moderate amount of time for tickets. The answer itself was detailed enough.

Free backups are available and done monthly or weekly depending on the plan. Cloudflare and DDoS protection are included. All of the HostYD servers are running on modern SSD drives. Dedicated IP is available for 3$ a month. You can choose between OpenVZ or KVM for VPS.
Uptime is promised to be 99.9%.

Softaculous is provided, allowing for easy one-click installation of supported CMS platforms, scripts, and so on. Users are granted full root and jailed SSH access. Cloud hosting supports a lot of custom UNIX-based images, here’s just some of them: Lamp, Node.Js, Drupal, MEAN, etc. VPS servers are highly customizable, allowing you to choose the amount of resources you’d want for your website. Shared solutions are only available for US and UK.
Server management is included with cPanel license.
