GenHost site is small, everything is tidy and well designed, although there are some minor bugs here and there. From here you can see the main aim of the company - reselling hosting solutions, as they come in 6 different variations, and we’ll get a good lock at them later on. In comparison, shared hosting comes in only 3 variations. All of their services are labeled as “Unlimited”. A knowledge base is available on the site, although most of it is almost empty, with cPanel having 20 articles while other subjects have 1-3.

GenHost states that the support department is online 24/7/365, that can be reached over by phone, live chat, WhatsApp, phone, or opening a ticket. As usual, I tested the response times, and overall, it took 8 minutes for a live chat specialist to answer all of my questions.

The company provides free daily or weekly backups with every of their plan, Imunify360, Litespeed. SSDs and NVMe hostings instead are their own separate categories. Sadly, there’s not a lot of details concerning additional features and security measures.

Jailed SSH access is available for users.

Uptime is promised to be 99%.

GenHost promises a juicy offer of unlimited bandwidth and disk space, well, as long as it falls under ToS.

Softaculous installer is available for an easy, one-click installment of CMS platforms,  plugins, addons, etc. The websites hosted are immediately activated after purchase. A Free managed migration service is available, with support specialists taking the task of transferring your website to genhost servers.

One major inconvenience is that some of the services are only available for a specific country e.g NVMe hosting is only available in Singapore.

Being the company’s main focus, GenHost offers a variety of reselling services as well as an affiliate program. There are 6 different reselling types total - Unlimited (SSD and Master), master, alpha, and windows reseller, all of them white-labeled.

Overall, Genhost offers its services at an extremely low price. The lowest being 0.99$ per month, but take in mind that you’d have to pay for half a year in advance minimum, as there are no monthly plans. The refund period is active for 7 days after purchase and a trial period of 48 hours.

The payment can be made through PayPal, Stripe, Bank Card, or BTC.
