GenHost site is small, everything is tidy and well designed, although there are some minor bugs here and there. From here you can see the main aim of the company - reselling hosting solutions, as they come in 6 different variations, and we’ll get a good lock at them later on. In comparison, shared hosting comes in only 3 variations. All of their services are labeled as “Unlimited”. A knowledge base is available on the site, although most of it is almost empty, with cPanel having 20 articles while other subjects have 1-3.

GenHost states that the support department is online 24/7/365, that can be reached over by phone, live chat, WhatsApp, phone, or opening a ticket. As usual, I tested the response times, and overall, it took 8 minutes for a live chat specialist to answer all of my questions.

The company provides free daily or weekly backups with every of their plan, Imunify360, Litespeed. SSDs and NVMe hostings instead are their own separate categories. Sadly, there’s not a lot of details concerning additional features and security measures.

One major inconvenience is that some of the services are only available for a specific country e.g NVMe hosting is only available in Singapore.

Genhost is definitely completed and constantly improves on its goal of providing cheap hosting for everyone. It would be an ideal candidate for those who want to start or already running a reseller service, or for someone looking towards hosting their personal project, as both will be greeted with respect and care.
