The company has its own knowledge base, although it is quite lacking and has under 50 articles.

MyTrueHost guarantees 24/7 online times of the support department. You can reach support by phone, email, live chat, or by opening a ticket. Using live chat I can say that support was quick to answer, but some of my questions were unresolved as a specialist on the other end, as they couldn’t understand what I exactly meant.

The information about the specific measures the company takes to provide clients with claimed high performance and sound security is scarce, as the company fails to mention anything coherent. From what I can pinpoint, MyTrueHost uses only pure SSD on the servers and guarantees 99.9% uptime by SLA.

Softaculous is provided allowing for an easy one-click installation of supported CMS platforms, addons n plugins. MyTrueHost support such CMS platforms as WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Magento, Mambo, AbenteCart, and so on. Free and automatic migration is available, but only for cPanel websites. Although the site proclaims that every plan is customizable, well, it’s not, as you can’t really change much during the configuration stage.

As a company that presents itself as a cheap hosting provider, the prices set on the site are indeed cheap. With so-called “1 Dollar hosting” you can get yourself a shared hosting. But if only it was so simple, shared hosting plans are only available by yearly plans, strangely so, some plans are only available monthly. There are no setup or installation fees.
