Founded in 2001, an American hosting company that was the first to offer commercial-scale Linux-based hosting. Provides services of managed hosting solutions like Shared, VPS, Cloud, and dedicated server hostings, with platform variations of WordPress, Magento, and Odoo. Their data centers are located. They have only one data center, located in the US.
Overview
Rosehosting’s website is simple and user-friendly, with every vital function located in easy-to-see places. The company provides mainly provides services of domain registration, fully managed VPS, and cloud solutions, but its full list includes cloud dedicated servers, shared, custom VPS and NVMe solutions. Most of their plans include benefits like free backups, powerful NVMe drives. The site hosts a knowledge base, although, I couldn’t find any articles there at the time.
Support
9.5
As stated on the website, the tech support department is online 24/7/365. You could reach them by phone, online chat, email, or by opening a ticket. Support answers quickly, within 5 minutes, and with detailed answers, I’ve tested, and can say that the first reply was quick, 1 minute after I wrote, and in total it took just under 6 minutes to deal with my questions.
Reliability
9.0
Along with free backups, RoseHosting introduces GigaBit network to increase load speed and server performance. To stay in line they use top-tier and up-to-date software with server hardening to provide their customers with 99.99% server uptime.
Cloud hosting comes with a specially developed resource scaling which will decrease or increase the number of resources allocated to you, depending on the traffic, and since RoseHosting charges cloud hosting per usage, so you would pay much less.
User Friendly
9.5
Custom VPS and cloud solutions can be customized in the amount of resources that will be used, or, in the case of the cloud, the upper and lower limits of resources. Each plan comes with its own different features, for example, Softaculuos in Shared, Unlimited Apps/Website for Linux, and specific platform optimization. Users have full root access to the server. The support department also takes the task of managing your server along with transferring it to RoseHosting.
Features
9.5
RoseHosting offers an affiliate program, allowing users to advertise the company’s services to gain some percent back from sales.
- Dynamic scalability;
- Unlimited server migration;
- Free, and on-demand backups and an SSL certificate;
- Powerful NVMe drives.
You can buy a VIP support service, although it seems somewhat disgraceful to regular users.
Basic Cloudflare has to be paid for only once
Pricing
9.5
The prices are slightly above market average, with shared hosting available for 7$ a month, but there’s a catch in that most services have to be paid yearly. The refund period is short, only lasting 7 days after purchase.
The payment can be made in USD only and through PayPal or a bank card.
